The album debuted at number one in the U.S. The group’s debut album, “Memories…Do Not Open,” was certified platinum. The Chainsmokers have developed some of the biggest breakthrough songs over the last two years including multi-platinum certified hits, “Roses” featuring Rozes, “Don’t Let Me Down” featuring Daya and “Closer” featuring Halsey, which went on to become the longest-running number one single of 2016 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Additionally, the track was added to Spotify’s New Music Friday playlist in 37 countries and to their largest playlist, Today’s Top Hits as well as to Today’s Hits on Apple Music. Released last week via Disruptor Records / Columbia Records, the track immediately shot to number one on iTunes and has already accumulated nearly 14 million combined global streams to date. The tour announcement comes on the heels of The Chainsmokers’ latest single, “Who Do You Love” featuring 5 Seconds of Summer. including their first-ever performance at Orlando’s Amway Center on Saturday, October 26. The 41-city tour, produced by Live Nation, kicks off on September 25 in Cincinnati, OH and makes stops in major cities across the U.S. Multi-platinum Australian band 5 Seconds of Summer join the tour on all dates along with rising pop star Lennon Stella.
